James is currently the Business Process and Customer Service Manager at Jubilee Insurance – Medical and has a responsibility of remodeling the medical business processes to align to the voice of the customer while ensuring efficient delivery of health insurance service.

Before then, James held a number of consultancy positions with Tulivu Imaging, a social enterprise focusing on offering affordable ultrasound services to the BOP and Boresha Health, which is geared to run chain of clinics offering primary care services in rural Kenya. James has also held various positions in various organizations such as, Director of Business Operations at Jacaranda Health - a social enterprise that is improving maternal and newborn health in Kenya, General Manager at Mellech Group, a construction and engineering company based in Kenya, General Manager and Customer Service Manager at AAR Health Services and responsible for Customer Service at Mobil Oil Kenya.

James has 16 years of experience in strategy formulation and execution, operations, customer service, and efficiency optimization. James has a degree in Economics and Sociology from Egerton University and a Masters of Arts in Economics from the University of Nairobi. He has also various certifications on social entrepreneurship from Philanthropy University.
